陶渊明的千古名篇《桃花源记》，

The Peach Colony, famous poem of Tao Yuanming,

描绘的正是中国常德桃花源。

depicts the Taohuayuan of Changde, China.

我是桃花源旅游管理区党委书记、

Taohuayuan, the prototype of The Peach Colony

桃花源地处武陵山下、洞庭湖畔。

Taohuayuan is located at the foot of Wuling Mountain and by the Dongting Lake.

我们的先人在秦朝因躲避战乱而隐居。

Our ancestors lived in seclusion in the Qin Dynasty to avoid Wars.

这里的自然环境奇妙独特，

The natural environment here is wonderful and unique,

可以感受山生绝境的神，

you can feel the magic of mountain in desperate situation,

体验水造迷津的奇，

experience the secret of water maze,

欣赏山环水绕的秀，

see the beauty of mountain and water,

由于武陵山、雪峰山两大山脉隔江对峙，

Due to Wuling Mountain and Xuefeng mountain are facing each other across the river,

沅江在此拐了一个90度的大弯，

Yuanjiang turns a 90 degree bend here,

出现了形似太极的白麟洲，

and there appears bailinzhou, which looks like Taiji,

造就了三水合流、

this created the ancient wonder of three rivers flowing together,

三日同辉、

three suns shining together,

福地洞天的千古奇观。

and paradise.

在东晋末年，

In the late Eastern Jin Dynasty,

陶渊明担任荆州刺史幕僚时，

when Tao Yuanming served as the assistant of the Jingzhou governor,

桃花源所在地恰是荆州管辖之区。

Taohuayuan is located in Jingzhou.

南齐地志学家任安平、黄闵等人，

The Southern Qi geologists Ren Anping, Huang Min and others,

首先论证认可的《桃花源记》创作真迹地就在武陵，

first approved that the authentic creation of The Peach Colony was in Wuling,

也就是今天的湖南常德。

which is Changde in Hunan Province today.

经过千年历史长河的检验，

which is also the real land of Taohuayuan noted in Chinese Textbooks of middle schools in China.

这里成了文人雅士的乌托邦，

孟浩然 、李白 、韩愈 、苏轼等无数文人墨客来此游历，

Meng Haoran, Li Bai, Han Yu, Su Shi and many other literati came here to visit and

留下诸多珍贵诗文墨宝。

108方碑刻、

108 inscription,

1000多幅帝王将相 、文人仕子的字画，

over 1000 scripts and paintings of emperors,generals and literati,

Taohuayuan, yearning place for a better life

我们桃花源人勤劳勇敢、豁达开朗，

Our Taohuayuan people are hardworking, brave, open-minded and cheerful,

we take guarding the spiritual home,

传承文化精髓为追求，

inheriting the essence of culture as the pursuit,

真实再现了《桃花源记》的情境。

“芳草鲜美、落英缤纷”的秦溪，

Qinxi with fresh and fragrant grass, appreciate fallen petals,

“土地平旷，豁然开朗”的秦谷，

Qingu with open land and suddenly enlightened,

从陶渊明的笔下走了出来;

came out of Tao Yuanming’s pen.

桃川书院的国学教育，

The education of Chinese ancient civilization in Taochuan Academy,

六艺工坊的非遗体验，

柴米油盐酱醋茶，

Firewood, rice, oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, tea,

琴棋书画诗酒花。

zither, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry and wine.

就是返璞归真、

is the happy life of back to nature,

天人合一、

unity of heaven and man,

2010年上海世博会，

In 2010 Shanghai World Expo,

湖南展馆以“桃花源里”为主题;

the theme of Hunan Pavilion is "In Taohuayuan".

2019年北京世园会，

In the 2019 Beijing World Horticultural Exposition,

湖南园以“湘遇·桃花源”来命名。

Hunan Garden is named after "Xiangyu·Taohuayuan".

桃花源已经成为湖南省享誉世界的亮丽旅游名片。

Taohuayuan has become a world-renowned bright tourist card of Hunan Province.

“良田美池，

“Nice field and farms,

鸡犬相闻，

dogs and chickens are heard around

黄发垂髫，

old and young,

怡然自乐”。
